The challenge
Professionals operating in highly confidential sectors needed a seamless way to capture, transcribe and summarize Google Meet and Zoom calls without inviting intrusive third-party bot participants. In enterprise environments, standard AI meeting note-takers are frequently blocked by IT admins or considered a breach of client trust.
Global Vertex Solutions (GVS) hypothesized that professionals required a discreet, fast and entirely client-side capturing mechanism. The crucial hurdle was engineering a method to capture high-fidelity speaker audio directly from the browser context without relying on virtual meeting joins.
Additionally, the transcription processing needed to be instantaneous to ensure that actionable summaries were available the precise moment the call concluded, scaling to support thousands of concurrent active professional users.
The solution
We engineered a lightweight, highly secure Chrome extension that uses Chrome's tab-capture and Web Audio APIs to record the meeting's audio without alerting or disrupting the active meeting environment.
The extension then streams the encrypted audio to Deepgram's speech models, which produce accurate, speaker-diarized transcriptions in real time. When the call ends, an integrated LLM turns the raw transcript into structured action items, decisions and concise summaries.
This frictionless, bot-free architecture allowed GVS to completely bypass corporate IT blockades. The resulting product experienced a rapid adoption loop among executives, proving that highly secure, invisible AI assistance is the superior form factor for enterprise productivity tools.
